    Also, that's now 16 wins for @TXStateMBB Head Coach Terrence Johnson. Tied for 2nd most by any 1st year coach, of any era, in TXST MBB history. He just surpassed the late Vernon McDonald. Only one with more is Dan Wall (20 wins in 1977-78)

    BALL GAME: @TxStateBaseball extends the nation's longest winning streak to 10 in a row as the Bobcats sweep Louisiana with a 10-8 win in Lafayette. The Bobcats now alone in first place in the Sun Belt at 15-6 and are now 31-13 overall. #BattleCry

    Extremely saddened today to hear of Stephen Smith's passing. His teammates and coaches always spoke highly of him, he was a great representative of Texas State University and was accomplishing great things after his playing career. Thoughts are with his friends & family
