UPDATE | Videos have emerged of organizers calling on Pro-India protestors to "storm the Sikh temples." The violent Anti-Sikh calls were met with loud and wide cheers by the mob as they flooded into the streets. Police quickly arrived on scene to protect Canadians from violence.

This is reckless misinformation. We're expanding PUBLICLY funded healthcare with 14,000 more cataract surgeries and 49,000 more hours of MRI and CT scans. We should focus on better outcomes for patients instead of using healthcare as a political wedge issue #onpoli

With all due respect Your Worship, You could've been the deciding vote at this council meeting if you weren't campaigning for another job. You also publicly opposed removing DCs on non-profit housing and supported only 30% of Taskforce recommendations as Mayor. #onpoli

Ontario's approach to housing needs an overhaul and that is why I support implementing all 74 recommendations in the Housing Affordability Taskforce. It continues to be a major priority of mine to see this motion on fourplexes pass at Mississauga City Council at the earliest

The scenes of violence today at the Hindu Sabha Mandir are completely abhorrent and have no place in Ontario. All Canadians should be free to worship without the fear of violence or intimidation. Those responsible for violence should be held accountable to the fullest extent
