That’s fantastic! We have school choice in 2023. If, instead, you are wanting vouchers I’m sure you won’t mind ensuring private schools: (a) accept every student that applies; (b) keep students when they are deemed “disruptive”, (c) provide special education services;

This year, I signed laws to get woke agendas out of Texas classrooms and restore parental rights in education. We made great progress, but there is more work to be done. Now is the time for school choice in Texas.

BREAKING: Texas Rep. John Raney ("R") filed an amendment to remove school choice from House Bill 1 today He's not seeking reelection. 5 of the others who signed on were endorsed by Randi Weingarten’s union These Texas House "Republicans" are doing the bidding of the Democrats.

Not a partisan issue, folks. Free and Public schools are a constitutional obligation. Period. l want every private school to be excellent, but they cannot access public funds without following all of the regulations that come with public schooling. #txlege
