    Boulder OEM is getting many calls about residents seeing fire. IF YOU SEE FIRE, EVACUATE. Go east, go north, but leave immediately. More info to come through OEM channels.

    Residents who evacuated/have property in evacuation zones, please do NOT return to the area. We know that you are concerned about your home/belongings. First responders are working non-stop to keep everyone safe, even as they don’t know the status of their own homes in the area.

    Fire Command has issued an order of evacuation for the City of Louisville. If you're in the area, please act quickly.

    Great news! The #CalWoodFire was 100% contained. The fire was again tested by high winds today and showed no signs of heat or smoke. Firefighters will continue to check the fire daily. This will be the last update unless something significant happens.

    Please view the official evacuation area for the #MarshallFire at this point. Also, areas just north of S. Boulder Rd. between Cherryvale/76th up to Arapahoe Rd is in pre-evac notice.

    If you live outside of Boulder County you are NOT in any danger at this time. Please do not call the Call Center at this time. Call takers are overwhelmed and there is no danger to other counties at this time. As always, stay alert to your surroundings.

    Please do not call the Emergency Call Center to inquire about structure damage/loss. We are still handling a very active fire and are trying to aid evacuees first and foremost.

    Firefighters on the #LefthandCanyonFire worked through the day to finish mopping up and patrolling containment lines. As of tonight, the Lefthand Canyon Fire is 100% contained and remained at 460 acres. Firefighters will be assigned to patrol the fire in the coming days.

    Boulder County Fairgrounds animal evacuation site is FULL from #MarshallFire and #MiddleForkFire. Please bring animals to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, (15200 W 6th Ave Frontage Rd, Golden).

    Evacuation Centers at N. Boulder Rec Center, Longmont Senior Center, and YMCA in Lafayette WILL provide overnight shelter. Cots are in route and food service is being organized. Evac Centers are also reunification sites for families to meet one another.

    Any residents feeling symptoms of post-traumatic stress from the #MarshallFire and other local fires are encouraged to call the Colorado State Mental Health Crisis Line at 1-844-493-8255.
