At approx. 1:45 firefighter’s working at a fire at 66 Westmore Rd. Mattapan. The fire in a large multi family home , that traveled from the basement up to the 1st floor. 7 adults ,1 child ,1dog & 2 snakes displaced. @RedCrossMA to help with housing, the cause to be determined.

As tradition has it, the Dorchester Day Parade was led by BFD’s finest, was celebrated by many. The great weather & entertainment search that brought families & visitors to curbsides along route did not disappoint. 🚒

All residents of 43 fairmont St made it out safe. There are 3 missing cats & a dog Milo from 3rd fl that was worked & showing good signs before being transported by EMS. Fire was knocked down & companies are making up now. BFD-FIU are on scene to determine cause

Today we honored our brother Bobby Kilduff Jr. on his final ride through the city he gave his all to. May he rest in peace. We will forever keep his Legacy alive & his family in our hearts and prayers.

Firefighters working over 200 feet in the air under extreme weather conditions, high winds and heavy rain.They were able to safely extricate a crane operator that was stuck in the cab when the crane malfunctioned at Conley terminal South Boston.
