    25 years ago today I experienced the thrill of a lifetime when I got to coach against my dad. His high school team beat mine 7-2 but I will never forget the feeling at that plate meeting. Never been more nervous! A special moment coaching against my hero!

    We keep telling kids to have fun when they play, but nobody defines what fun is. Let me help. “Fun” is not forced/fake enthusiasm, laziness, or lack of hustle. That’s called “bush league”. Fun is playing hard all the time, hustling, and playing for the guy next to you. #LetsGo

    Watched a lot of baseball in my life, but this game at Comerica Park in 2012 is one I will never forget. I was excited, nervous, thrilled, etc to learn from Al Kaline that day. He couldn’t have been more classy. RIP #6 and thank you.
