    Still unbelievable to me that one of the best scenes in the game is a Persian dance performed by a Persian character defying oppression in front of an authoritarian institution. Seeing our culture is so rare in media which makes this so precious along with the real life symbolism

    You have no idea how much Nilou's dance means to the Iranian playerbase. Her choreography is perfectly animated from our Persian court dance and it is the first time ever it appears in fictional media like this. I don't think you know what cultural representation means

    The Genshin fandom be like "we care so much about Nilou being a 'misrepresentation of Iranian culture'" then harrass Iranian women who tell them Nilou has many accurate features and is not orientalist as a whole. I'm an Iranian man so I'll let harrassing me slide but the women?

    Imagine being such a pathetic grifter that every time people from underrepresented cultures rightfully speak about wanting bare minimum respect for their cultures, you make a video out of it while you are not from any of the cultures, simply to make profit out of the whole thing

    Of the three moon sisters, two are confirmed to have perished as in-game lore and the current moon is supposed to be the corpse of one of them; however, it's not the bright moon in Teyvat's sky that is the actual corpse but rather the shattered fragments beyond the firmament
