- Boise Fire is conducting proactive fire operations at the Valley fire to protect containment lines. We appreciate the concerned calls to dispatch and can share that the fire line people are seeing from Boise is being carefully managed and is part of an intentional effort.
- Emergency responders are on scene of a reported building collapse at W. Rickenbacker St. and Luke Street. There are reports of multiple injuries. The Boise Airport is not impacted. More information will be available here as it is confirmed.
- Boise Fire is responding to a large structure fire on W Irving street. Because of the advanced fire conditions fire crews are attacking the fire from the outside. More information will be available here.
- We had to be creative today when we rescued these ducklings on N. Maple Grove. Engine 4 recorded the mama duck and played it back at the opening to lure the babies out of the pipe. A happy early Mother's Day gift for this mom duck.

- Horizon Air retired their BSU Airplane yesterday. 💙🧡 Our Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) team gave it a proper goodbye with a water arch salute before it continued off to its new home! 👋 Go Broncos!
- Today we escorted members of the @BroncoSportsFB team as they beat the heat floating 💦 down the Boise River! 🏈🐴
- Last night we responded to a man free climbing off of Rocky Canyon Rd. He became stuck half way up the rock face. Crews successfully rappelled down to him, picked him off the ledge & both were lowered to the ground. Kudos to our highly trained technical rescue team!

- #ValleyFire - Residents in the area of Wild Horse Ln./Table Rock Rd. to Highway 21 and north of Warm Springs should be aware of fire activity in their area. All areas that were previously in “SET” can return to “READY” status.
