Personally I don't do this, but newer players should announce phases out loud to keep track of the game:

- Oko deserves more than just a ban. Errata him to be a 3/3 elk without abilities.
- Splinter Twin will be unbanned at the federal level, but it's up to each individual state to follow suit.
- Have they spoiled Crippling Student Debt in Strixhaven yet? It should have cumulative upkeep and can't be sacrificed for flavor.
- Paper tip of the day: the sharpie on perfect fit can allow for some fun arts and crafts.
- Modern players will show you the worst deck you've ever seen and say it's to beat 4 Color.
- Me: I'll fetch for the Temur Triome Opponent: Did you mean Ketria Triome?
- If you want new art that's fine. Just draw Bob again. This isn't Bob.
- At my first regionals, when I was 13, a grown man called me a fucking rat and also called the judge on me for being psychic.Competitive magic the gathering players are some of the kindest, most well adjusted human beings I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with.
- Paper tip of the day: If you're unsure how something works or something feels weird, call a judge. It's not an aggressive move. You can say something to your opponent like "I just want to know how this works" and it's fine.
- This seems like a cool thing to test. No clue if it will work, but a great problem to tackle.
- Paper tip of the day: if your opponent starts to read a card on your side of the battlefield, don't start telling them what it does. It's confusing to hear someone talking to you while reading.
- The lack of coverage is obviously a bummer, but let's keep the table spacing forever.
