The Purple Line is projected to have nearly 30,000 daily riders, cost more than $20 billion and take at least 15 years to complete.
It's going to be built and get federal funding.
"There is no space for a subway on Roosevelt Boulevard."
"Subway construction will cause issues with commerce."
These are excuses that hold no weight in reality.
Philadelphia and Baltimore are cities that have incomplete transit systems.
Today, Baltimore is aggressively planning for the future with plans for North-South and East-West lines.
