We want to applaud the Internet Computer for its World Computer vision and mission with a new type of culture coin: a rare collectible. We’ve pushed optimizations to clear the PoW bottlenecks, so block times will now stay faster and more consistent as rig counts climb. 💪⛏️
- We noticed block times can slow when rig counts reach the thousands due to inefficiency in our miner smart contracts. Nothing changes mathematically. Fairness is unaffected, PoW works the same, and energy only burns when a block is mined. The only effect is slower blocks.
