    Trans women are women. Trans women are women with or without surgeries. Trans women are women with or without facial hair. Trans women are women regardless of how they have sex. Trans women are women regardless of whether or not they are performing femininity to your liking.

    Trans Day of Remembrance is not a happy holiday for us. Each year we’ve had to spend thousands of dollars to help pay for burial transport arrangements of multiple Black trans women who were murdered. We do this through our Homegoing Fund, one of our little known about programs.

    It is with great sadness we must inform community of the loss of yet another Black trans sister, Alicia Simmons. Alicia was recently found unresponsive in her apt in Philadelphia. Cause of death is not yet confirmed. We send our deepest condolences to her family & loved ones.💔

    The Black Trans Travel Fund was launched in June of 2019. In just 6 months, we managed to redistribute over $30,000 to 300+ Black trans women, paying for over 700 car rides for women in need! 🎉🙌🏾 2020 we’re hype to help even more women and in more ways! Let’s get it! 💪🏽🚖✊🏾💕

    If you’re looking for a solid org to donate to for #TDOR, I gotta say we’re a great place to start. We do the work to help get the girls home safe because we are tired of the growing TDOR lists year after year.
