I've also noticed a drop in my followers since yesterday when I started tweeting about #GeorgeLloyd. If me talking about racism in America makes you uncomfortable, please hit that unfollow button right now, because I refuse to be quiet just so people won't be made uncomfortable.

What a cool story. D3 player, all-time wins leader at MIT, spends a few years in the NBA then last year in the W as an assistant. Gets her shot in the W as a HC at 51, and trail-blazing all along the way being the 1st Indian-origin person to do what sheโ€™s done. Good stuff!
Breaking: NY Liberty assistant Sonia Raman has agreed to a multiyear deal to become the new head coach of the Seattle Storm, sources tell @ShamsCharania. Raman makes WNBA history as the first person of Indian-origin to be head coach โ€“ after being the first Indian-American woman

Breaking news: if you water a plant, it will grow.
A new study says women's sport has the ability to generate the money, but needs the visibility to succeed.

My 1st coaching job out of college I made $0. My 1st D1 job was part-time & I got paid hourly for a max of 25 hours a week. I drove for Uber for a year. Iโ€™ve worked at coffee shops. Nobodyโ€™s path is a straight one. The twists & turns are a part of your bigger story. Keep going.

When women's sports are treated as what they are (ya know, sports) people support it. It's simple. Bravo to Minnesota and bravo to this league. #WNBAAllStar

I just reached out about an unsigned 2020. Coach- "She's actually only considering D1 offers right now. Me- "Oh okay, I thought she didn't have any offers right now, that's why I reached out. My mistake!" Coach- "Well she doesn't, but she's a D1 player so she's waiting." Me-

If a college basketball team is recruiting you, take it seriously & respect that. It doesn't matter if it's D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO. If a coach is interested in you, that is high praise. Their job is to win, & they think you could help do that? That's real. Don't diss anyone.

Scary moment at the end of the Sparks game as a fan ran onto the court towards Chiney & Nneka Ogwumike with something in his hand. #WNBA

Earlier, I tweeted that I was proud to have a @RebeccaLobo jersey hanging in the closet. She then said she expected me to wear it out tonight in honor of #WNBA opening night. Done, with pleasure. ๐Ÿ“ท: @CTbow

Stop calling techs on women for showing passion and exuberance on levels that we praise men for showing.

Dudes on Twitter: โ€œThe WNBA sucks, nobody watches it or cares.โ€ Same dudes: Experts on womenโ€™s pro sports business model, viewership, finances, as soon as theyโ€™re called out for being sexist. Itโ€™s OK if you donโ€™t want to be a part of this. But ๐Ÿคซ & get out the way. We comin.
