Here we go.
I am incredibly proud to announce that earlier this month, I joined the @PlayHearthstone game design team!!!
This is a crowning achievement in my life, and it is difficult to put into words what this means to me and how much work it has taken to get here.

- "Hey bro it's pretty cold out today" "Oh thanks bro but like, how cold"
- 9–1-4 15th place/~600 at SLC Regionals! Managed to claw my way back from a tough 1-0-2 start, I’m honestly really impressed with how this list performed. Yes, that is 2 VIP pass without a consistent way to hit them turn 1. Explanations/matchups coming.
- Looked at this, laughed, tested it with @Yoshi_TCG, then immediately realized how insane it is. I took 5 prizes on turn 3 vs Mew. Seen some people asking how this works, so thought I'd give a basic explanation:Congrats to Reiji N for winning the @LateNightPTCG #41 event with Dialga! bujijia1105 played well and placed 2nd with Arceus / Malamar! Shoutout to @ptcgostore and @pokeXword for making this event happen! Lists and final standings are available here: play.limitlesstcg.com/tournament/ln4…
- Ended the day at SLC 6-0-3 with Malamar Cinccino! I do think the Inteleon version is better in most situations. But rather than try to pull an optimal meta call like I always do, I trusted my testing and stuck with what I’m comfortable with, which paid off. Matchups below.
- 19th/~1500 at the European International Championship with Lugia/DURALUDON! Whipped up this crazy idea with @Yoshi_TCG, @lorozco04, @RavynTCG, and @jakekgearhart the night before. I got lucky with matchups but I’m proud of my play as well. 3rd Day 2 international in a row!
- 143rd in Toronto with Blahnette! All credit to @Jezyk46, shamelessly copied his list with 0 changes. The deck is really interesting and honestly a lot better than expected, but it has some consistency issues and might just be a bit too slow unless you hit great matchups. 🧵
- Here we find a @Tricroar in his natural habitat (my apartment), sitting next to Mr. Baguette and eating his third Ring Pop of the day. Acquiring this knowledge is key in understanding how top Pokémon players prepare for events, such that it can be replicated effectively.
- Alright, on the brighter side of things, I GOT 3RD AT AN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OUT OF 1122 PLAYERS! WHAT I've been playing the Pokémon TCG since 2012 and this is my best result ever, by far. And I did it with a deck very few players respected until now.
- 99th/1900+ at NAIC with Turbo Blahxcalibur! (I take zero credit for this deck I changed like 2 cards) I had been wanting to play Baxcalibur to relive my Blastoise days and glad I got to at a large event even though I don’t think it’s the best right now. See everyone at Worlds!
