    Staff wanted to bring a smile to the former Navy steward who has been on the Stroke Ward since November. Assistant Practitioner, Jenny Day, said. “He had told me that he was missing his guinea pigs and so we arranged to bring them in." How lovely ♥️

    We are delighted to report that Dr Sharran Grey has received an OBE in the New Year's Honours list. Sharran, a Haematology Consultant in the Lancashire Haematology Centre at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, has been awarded the honour for services to blood transfusion & patient care.

    The smile on Bella’s face as she led therapy horse Taz around the children’s ward was amazing. She was a natural and absolutely loved it.
