    Today we said farewell to our Head Teacher, Mr Moulsdale who is leaving the school after 16 years in charge. Staff, pupils and their families thank him for his immense input and hard work at Bishopbriggs Academy and wish him all the best in his next adventure.

    The funeral of Claire Lyons, a highly valued and much loved member of Bishopbriggs Academy takes place today. Claire had a very significant impact on our school community. She will be missed more than words can say and our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

    Amazing work from Mr Moore & the Des Tech team in producing 400 visors for the emergency services! More materials on order and we'll be increasing our efforts next week. A Go Fund Me page will be launched to allow anyone wishing to make a donation to this fantastic initiative.

    Mr Moulsdale and Mr Moore delivered 200 visors to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital this afternoon. Others have been given to EDC for local care homes. Once again thanks to all the generous donations that continue to come in! Thanks also to Angela McDonald for her updates!

    Mr Norman McNeil, our Chief Invigilator for the SQA exams, retires today after 23 years of invigilating exams at both the former Bishopbriggs High School and at Bishopbriggs Academy. Thank you, Norman for all your hard work over the years. You will be greatly missed by everyone!

    Mr Moore delivered visors today to Erskine hospital & care home. Deliveries also made to St Andrews Hospice, Airdrie & local health centres.1000+ visors have now been produced. A fantastic achievement, huge thanks to all staff involved and to generous donations!

    Today staff had the opportunity to hear former pupil, Commonwealth and European swimming medalist @katieshanahan_ talk about her remarkable achievements this summer. A superb role model for all pupils. Well done to Mr Donaghey who has a potential new career as a chat show host!
