I’M GOING TO THE OLYMPICS!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ I’ve dreamt of this since I was 9 years old, I’m absolutely speechless. Thank you so so much everyone for the support ❤️❤️❤️ I’ll reply when I’ve came back down to earth 🤯🤯
Women deserve to compete exclusively against competitors who don’t have any of the advantages that the female category exists to exclude. Testosterone is what creates these advantages and lowering it doesn’t level the playing field.
“There should be a place in sport for everyone, of both sexes and all gender identities or none. That place is not in the female category, which has to be restricted to those who have not got the lifelong advantages of male puberty.” @fairplaywomentelegraph.co.uk/athletics/2023…
I have dreamt of writing a tweet like this for 8 years now. At the age of 24 I AM GOING TO BE REPRESENTING GREAT BRITAIN at the Athletics World Cup in the LONDON OLYMPIC STADIUM!!!!! Never ever ever give up on your dreams ❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
2017: 6th at the British Champs.
2018: 7th at the European Champs.
What a transformational season it has been. I never thought I would represent Great Britain, become the British Champion or run sub 23 seconds. I can’t thank everyone enough who has helped me get to this point.
This interview and the school kids at 2.30 has sent me 😭 So happy for @philhealy2 getting her first major medal after everything she’s been through and the rest of the girls!!
Ireland’s Sophie Becker, Rhasidat Adeleke, Phil Healy and Sharlene Mawdsley are a mix of exaltation and exhaustion after their superb second place in the women's 4x400m relay final at the European Championships.
