People should stop acting like incumbents have some mythical claim to their seats. Porter has every right to announce her campaign whenever she wants to, no matter how Feinstein decides ultimately.

- Replying to @charles_gaba @umichvoter and @keithedwardsIt shouldn’t be seen as a bad move regardless. If you mean the execution of the announcement (i.E. the clip) sure, but there is no reason any potential candidate should have to wait to announce their bids just because the incumbent hasn’t said what their plans are.
