- Replying to @KenariTweets and @TheFoxipsoIt's bound to right thumb touching ring finger
- Working on an accessibility tool for Deaf/HoH VR users named VR-CC to transcribe their audio in a VR overlay! Words are made more transparent when confidence in the transcription is low. Runs locally, no analytics, no subscription service! Even seems to recognize common sounds!
00:00 - Replying to @TheNaantam and @TheFoxipsoThe helping hands VR sign language community taught me most of what I know today. They hold classes for ASL and BSL in-game with deaf teachers always willing to help out ๐
- #vrchat #vrcfacetracking Fixed the stuttering and pushed a release to GitHub! Thought I'd lipsync in celebration! ๐ Visemes here were fully OSC-Driven! github.com/benaclejames/Vโฆ
00:00 - And its out! My #blender addon for debugging VRCFT shapekeys is available, and open-source! github.com/benaclejames/Vโฆ I really hope this helps lower the iteration time in modifying blendshapes in blender and testing them ๐ You could even use an iPhone to test in real-time!

00:20 - Replying to @VRChatSo glad to see those "lines of communication with mod creators" really led to something great. Can't wait to continue using old versions of the game while never needing to update my mods๐
- Finally, after a year of no updates, VRCFT v5.0 is out! New UI, new parameters, new installer, new features (including support for VRChat's native eye tracking)! So glad to finally have this weight lifted aha
- Picked up a broken iPhone to try out Dazbme's ARKit VRCFaceTracking module and got it working with newer versions of VRCFT. It works surprisingly well with existing avatars, and required no edits! It even tracks eye movement ๐
00:00 - When you're signing with a massive furry, the imagination is usually relied on quite heavily to begin with. While facial expressions help, context is way more useful in VR
- Replying to @jasperbluenc and @TheFoxipsoNo setup required! Its live on VRC's testing branch!
- Wooo! Great news for Virtual Desktop users! Among other amazing features, face tracking is now supported! This means you can finally use virtual desktop on the quest pro to get facial tracking in VRChat via VRCFT
