- My house is a total loss in Hurricane Laura. These pictures were taken less than 24 hours apart as we were evacuating Lake Charles.
- Hakuna Matata! Our power was out for weeks in Louisiana after Hurricane Laura. Hopefully it is restored soon in Kenya! 🙏
- I made it through a lengthy 9 hour surgery. They removed the tumor, part of my colon, part of my bladder and part of my small intestine (all affected). Cancer is gone and recovery begins! Hope to be up walking some today.
- Hitched up with WVUE FOX 8 Meteorologist Zack Fradella. We are evacuating Lake Charles. You should too. RIGHT NOW!!! I’ll see you back on TV once we make it to WAFB Baton Rouge. This is thing coming in as a CAT 5. KPLC is no longer safe.

- Taking a little Saturday afternoon stroll as I continue recovering from sepsis and 2 surgeries. Maybe only a few days from discharge.

- Getting early reports of a preliminary 4.5 magnitude earthquake around 4:30 AM Pacific Time in the San Fernando Valley region of southern California north of Los Angeles. No reports of any widespread damage or injuries as of yet. #earthquake
