- One thing that hasn’t been discussed much in the debate over the awful bigoted remarks on the tape and the future of the Councilmembers in question is how this incident points out the urgent need to make our local redistricting processes more transparent and democratic.

- Folks have written in asking about our plans on #SB724 on legal representation in cases of conservatorship abuse. The bill has not been shelved; it is very much alive. It has been made a “2-year bill” for negotiations and I am 💯 committed to passing the bill out in January.
- If signed into law by @GavinNewsom, my SB433 would give the Coastal Commission the right to penalize Coastal Act violations caused by oil spills. It would likely be the most significant power the state would have over errant offshore oil drilling off our coast in federal waters.
