    We are deeply saddened about the passing of Huffer Professor of Mathematics and Astronomy Ranjan Roy. Ranjan was one of Beloit’s most beloved professors, both an extraordinary teacher and distinguished scholar whose textbooks are widely used in mathematics instruction.

    Today, our beloved College Archivist, Fred Burwell retired after 34 years of stellar service to Beloit College. He started in the Archives as a student and later transitioned to the role of College Archivist. We couldn't be more thankful for his dedication to our history.

    Last night concluded the World Baseball Classic and fans went wild not only for the games but for sports broadcaster and Beloit alum Joe Davis'10.  Fans took to social media to note that "Joe Davis is generational." We look forward to hearing Davis as the voice of future events!
