We thought so much more of you @StephenKing and even though this may harm us financially we’re removing all your books from our website. Absolute abhorrent and ill informed comment in the first instance that an inchoate apology doesn’t begin to cover. Go further.

Just for the record, we won’t EVER be checking anyone’s claimed vaccine status, and if @niexecutive ever try to force us to, we’ll make alternative arrangements to trade outdoors at markets and car boot sales.

Good morning Sunday from an illiberal liberal called ‘Freedom Americans’ who is threatening NOT to come from the US to the U.K., and also defames and wishes us harm in the same breath. How on earth will we cope with a boycott like this? We may as well just close the doors now🙄

Absolutely disgraceful comments from @IrvineWelsh about Alfredo Morelos and shame on you @DavidTannerTV for not challenging either comment. As a consequence, we won’t be selling any of Irvine Welsh’s books until a satisfactory apology is received by @morelos2106 and @RangersFC.

Almost every morning when we open, a local guy who went to the same primary school as Mr Books comes to borrow a Troubles or a true crime book. Without fail, the next day he brings it back. Sometimes customers who are in the shop at the same time ask can they borrow a book too
