- Okay, NOW can we blatantly address the colorism at hand? The big beautiful badass Black man, the darkest person on the entire character roster, who was integral to the plot by the way, was consciously removed and replaced—explain THAT to me! Try to make this make sense!

- I love seeing Black characters who have healthy White friends. It's very common to find White people who try to make us their token Black yes-men. Media that gives us our own agency & lets us be cool on our own terms make these friendships all the more respectable & believable.
- Imagine collectively bullying a Black person out of a role, only for the actor who returned to reveal herself as an ego driven Karen attacking her own peers...🙃 This your queen? You hurt Black people for her? All this taught me is that the anime community can only fail itself.
