- Unfortunately for me, nothing will ever make me hate Darwin Nunez. Just a nice constant cycle of torture & paradise. A pure enigma of a footballer.
- Liverpool Football Club are the only team who can completely forget, as a unit, how to kick a ball for 45 minutes & then ping the ball around one touch in the 100th minute to score the winner. Absolute steal of a result.
- I think it’s time we stop comparing the Klopp & Arteta projects. Maybe at the start of Arteta’s climb they looked like they *could* be comparable, but the following seasons have proven that’s not the case. 97, 99, & 92 points in 3 of 5 seasons. 3 UCL finals in those 5 seasons.With this logic Klopp should have been sacked for finishing 2nd to City despite hitting 97 points. Please use your brain, people.
- Where would Liverpool be without Virgil van Dijk. How do you watch a game like this & think he’s anything but an all-time Liverpool & Premier League great? I’ve never seen a centreback so aerially dominant. Thank god he’s still this good at his age.
- If a player’s fail comp is 3 mistakes leading to goals mixed in with some seriously forgiveable errors & slight errors in positioning, my god. I don’t even care about the debate, Terry was a player man, but VVD is something else.
- I completely get why Klopp is tired of dealing with the media. The question for this response was looking for a headline, and his full answer was praised by both Ian Wright & Dwight Yorke. These are taken out of the larger portion of the response purely for clicks.🚨 Klopp: “A lot of things went against us”. “This referee gave me red card against City for wrestling situation - Bernardo & Salah”. “Today same with Jota that didn’t get a red card. Unbelievable”. “Holding by Havertz on Konate… Gabriel did same with Nunez, no yellow card”.
- It’s like Liverpool fans completely forgot what happened last season when the overconfidence was this high. Doesn’t matter where they are, since that point Liverpool drew 0-0, lost in the FA Cup & drew another time at OT. - In my opinion, these are both goals that deserve to stand, but only one did. It’s actually quite comical that it took 3 days from the Endo incident to have a fixture with the same referee give the same goal that they took away at a crucial stage in a final.
