Really liked how Weapons uses it's modernity. Ring doorbell cameras, entitled parents, the overwhelming sense that the communities around us are so much more closed off and empty than they used to be. You're IN a community, but seldom PART of one

- It's so fucked that David Lynch was literally a casualty of climate change. Such a terrible emblem of how it's going to slowly rob us of all the things we love
- Apparently gen z fuckin HATES superman ("Gen z" is the nickname I have for General Zod)
- It's probably a case of "beam me up Scotty," but Hank Hill never actually ever says the words "dang it Bobby" or "that boy ain't right." Not once does he say it in all of Goodfellas, and I've watched Goodfellas several times just to check
- It is really incredible that the Fabelmans ends with Greg Grunberg saying "do you want to meet the greatest director to ever live?" and then the movie brings out David Lynch
- Squidward performance of the centuryJust mad as hell 😭😭😭
GIF - I genuinely think about this line delivery literally every single day
00:00 - Googling "when did Alfred Hitchcock shoot Rope?" and the google AI overview responding "Every night, motherfucker 😎"
- Replying to @theenewflesh"Fucking HELP ME!" Lmfao. Or even the fact that Brolin has to reintroduce himself to his fellow parents that are all going through the same thing he is. Everyone is on an island
- Replying to @defiant_voyagerEveryone in the town is so isolated that nobody questioned where his parents went outside of "his dad had a stroke and can't speak" and "they have a touch of consumption" lol. So bleak
- Replying to @BeanWalrusMost people's Hank Hill impressions surprisingly sound nothing like Ray Liotta's speaking voice smh
- Replying to @BurnerBigbyReally smart way to nip it in the bud but still set up that it'll be important later. Brolin's whole plot is basically that he's the first person who cared enough to ask his neighbors for help! That's so real for the suburbs lol
