- In a college season, the difference between hitting .255 and .300 is 7-8 hits a season. 7-8 hits. 1. You’re closer than you think. 2. Can you get 8 hits on bad swings in 175 ABs? Sometimes you just gotta find the barrel. Get good at getting the barrel where the ball is.
