People will hype up Reed Sheppard but totally ignore the fact that his 52.6% three-point percentage was inflated during non-conference play. In SEC games, he was only 52.4% from three.

Babe, you ok? You’ve barely touched your James Harden Cabernet Sauvignon.

“Attempting to identify under-the-radar NBA Draft prospects” snubbed again.

New take but I’ll stand by it: Anthony Edwards becoming a STAR star is one of the greatest things that could happen to the NBA from a business perspective. He’s the funniest player in the league, he’s wildly exciting, and he’s charismatic. Checks all the boxes.

Guards who can’t dunk. Wings who don’t get stocks. Forwards who can’t shoot. Bigs who struggle with playmaking. These red flags aren’t a good thing. But what are the traits of the players who overcome them? My latest at @NoCeilingsNBA 👇

I’d strongly recommend going back to watch the Thompson Twins’ pre-season games against international teams if you have any access to them. It’s a good refresher as to what they look like when they have to be completely engaged and competitive at all times.

Holmgren and Timme compliment each other so well. I need Chet in Houston with Sengun and Garuba.

Brooks Barnhizer has been unbelievable this season, and it’s driving me nuts that most of the draft world hasn’t taken notice.
Northwestern’s Brooks Barnhizer & Nick Martinelli are the only teammates in all of college basketball to average 20+ PPG. The best duo in the country. 🫡

Memphis' DeAndre Williams tells me that he's withdrawing from the 2022 NBA Draft and will return to school next season.

Kevin Durant may want to leave the Brooklyn Nets. They should consider trading him for Matisse Thybulle. Thybulle already has better steal and block percentages. If he can just hit 38/39% of his threes on high volume and score ~27 PPG, he'd be like a way better version of Durant.

I say this as someone who was very high on Knecht. I think the real takeaway here is to be kinder to older prospects who had a funky development curve. He was 5’3” as a HS freshman and didn’t stop growing until he was like 19/20, and a super + athlete.
