    I took from the GCC this building in 1992 and had no idea if we would survive a winter,however thanks to the wonderful people of the southside and our hardworking team we have reach 25 years and we will get trough this orribile time of our lifes to raise again

    It all started in 1988 when i saw this building going to ruin,over the next few years i kept trying to purchase the building from the Council and eventually in 1992 for the nominal sum of ONE POUND I purchased what has became the symbol of the Southside.A Proud Owner!

    I have to say that the reopening of Battlefield Rest after the last Lockdown has been amazing and such a positivity among Staff & Customers,I thought i would never see the day that we had to employ more members of staff there is a new energy & a new hope for a better future

    I am absolutely shocked to hear that EastRenfrewshire remains in level 2 ??? At the moment i have no words left to explain my feelings when 2 miles from us they can trade with an indoor licence and a higher number of cases then us?
