So the spiderman manga has the girl character come out as gay and the protag who thought he had a chance with her is actually super happy she was comfortable around him to confess that to him. A nice turnaround of the "friendzone trope".

It's fascinating that in December 2023, a year since Bridget came out as a girl, after Daisuke himself explained in English "she's a girl", after the Japanese in-game text and interview was translated into English to say "she's a girl", they're still people saying she's a boy

I am seeing a lot of people retweeting this so i should point out the manga is called "Spiderman: Fake Red". The manga is struggling to reach an audience but has a following in the U.S. The best way to support it is to request a western release and support the author directly.

The studio actually did a good job telling the story of an unfinished manga by doing their own interpretation of the setting. I know FMA purists prefer brotherhood but this show still shines on its own. And that music, especially that ballroom dance music with Rose 💖
