00:00 - The Godot Discord is great. I had an algorithm that was taking 60 seconds to run. I asked how I could optimize it and within 30 seconds the community had gotten it down to 152ms lmfao
- I've decided to cut ties with Unity. At least until something gets done about "the situation". I'll be leaving the partner program and cancelling any sponsorships I had lined up with them. I won't be attending Unite - which is a horrible, horrible feeling. This is the first time
- Gambling games are exempt from the Unity runtime fee. All of my games going forward will include a coin flip mini game for free. You’re welcome.
- Replying to @unityOut of respect for those at Unity who truly care. I’ll bite my tongue. But these changes need to show that the company isn’t going to make the same mistakes going forward. We need a EULA that protects small and large corporations alike.
- I’m exhausted. Please don’t make this another “let’s complain for a couple days and then go straight back to using Unity”. They betrayed our trust. They stole our time. This is not about money. Let’s actually do something about it this time.
