- Today marks the 10th anniversary of the death of FF/PM Mark Falkenhan, who perished this day in an apartment fire dispatched at 6:16 p.m., 30 Dowling Circle. He became trapped on the third floor while searching for victims. #BCoFD remembers his sacrifice. #neverforget EA
- #update Brush fire now 8 alarms with over 200 firefighters from across the region on scene. 29 homes have been evacuated as crews continue to work on containing the fire. CMD reports fire is 40% contained at this time. TF
- MASS CASULTY INCIDENT #bcofd responded with numerous water rescue resources just before 2 a.m. after reports of a vessel striking the Francis Scott Key Bridge and causing a collapse. Motorists are advised to avoid the area of I695 and the Key Bridge.
