Ysgol Bae Baglan is an awesome school for 1600 3-16 year-olds.
- Many thanks today to all the parents and pupils who made our first day back so successful. Looking forward to seeing you all back next week.

- The governing body would like to congratulate Mr Richard Rees on his appointment to Headteacher of Ysgol Bae Baglan. He will begin this role in September.

- The school raised £1,269 today for Children in Need which is a tremendous effort. Thank you all!
- Following updated advice from the local authority Ysgol Bae Baglan will remain closed on Friday 2nd March. We expect with improved weather to be open Monday but will update communication channels as early as possible Sunday afternoon. Thank you for continued support.
- Ysgol Bae Baglan will not be open to pupils on Friday October 6th, replacing the scheduled INSET on Friday 27th October.

- We are continuing to follow the advice of Public Health Wales. Guidance is updated every day: publichealthwales.wales.nhs.uk We are in contact with the Local Authority and Public Health Wales to monitor the situation in Wales, and will update if there are any changes to advice.
- Immensely proud of all the children who have received their results today. Pupils have shown great resilience coming through challenging circumstances and achieved well deserved results. We wish our Year 11 learners all the best for their futures.
- From Sept 2019 Mr Tate will be taking up a new role as Assistant Director for Education for Cardiff. The school is currently going through the process of appointing a new head teacher. We will inform you when the new head has been appointed.
