- Orion, the Hunter, rises over a high Sierra lake in #California this morning during #PerseidMeteorShower. At 3000 m, away from light pollution, it was a beautiful celestial display. The show continues the next few nights, with fewer meteors. More after midnight when Perseus rises

00:00 - A few nights ago against this massive #glacier lit by the #northernlights in southeast #Iceland. When aurora is in storm level it illuminates the landscape, cast shadows & dominates the entire sky. It's much less colorful to our eyes though the green is the first you would notice
