I can't find a title for this glorious painting of autumn Aspen, but it is by Oregon based (Ukrainian born) artist, Anton Pavlenko 💛

In the last 48 hours, a local landowner has cut down ALL the trees along the edge of his fields adjoining the road, sparing none, not even mature Oaks. He's done this bang in the middle of the bird nesting season.

I've realised during lockdown that I am more content being solitary than social... and that trying to be a social creature, when in reality I'm not, is exhausting. I think I might have been a hermit in another life. Or perhaps a solitary bee, or a crow.

“That’s an odd, looking mushroom” I thought, as I walked towards it. When I got closer, it turned out to be a Yorkshire pudding…

Ok, so I'm probably a wee bit biased, but I LOVE my daughter's foxes! 🧡
Fox watched the snowfall, utterly captivated. She could watch forever, her mind drifting along with the snowflakes as they floated and fell with each whisper of wind. Well, maybe not for too long actually. She was getting pretty chilly and quite fancied curling up somewhere warm.

Happy Christmas Eve lovely Twitter folk 💫🎄❄️ Each Christmas I search for something new, but it's impossible to find a kinder or more beautiful painting for the festive season, than this. So here it is, again... In the Arms of Grace - by English artist, Wendy Andrews

The sunken lane/holloway is amazing. Every time I thought it was coming to an end, it just kept on going. I didn't meet with any elves or hobbits today, but I fully expect to soon.

Just been for an evening stroll and come across this amazing sunken lane... which just happens to lead to a megalithic burial chamber. No time to explore further today, but I know exactly where my walk's going to take me tomorrow.
