- Aug. 1 is obviously an exciting day for the 2026 class. Little advice to anyone going through the process, run your race. No matter how much attention you get or don’t get, avoid the comparison game, keep working and good things happen 👌🏾
- I’m as excited as anyone to talk to the 27’s, but don’t lose sight that we all spent all summer talking to 22s, 23s, 24s, & 25s… advice to HS kids, run your race and just keep working, the game will repay you when it’s ready. #KeepWorking
- I’m not in @tigers clubhouse. But recruiting @treysweeney3 was a blast. No obvious plus tools in HS, but he always won. Won a state title, helped lay foundation that helped get EIU to a regional, now headed to MLB playoffs. No clue if he’s why, but 27-11 since his debut ain’t bad
- Nobody really knows what to say or think. So here’s my atttempt at not knowing what to say.
- Guys worked their tails off this semester. Week before finals means no baseball with us so having groups of guys over each night with a different meal on the menu. Tonight was Jambalaya, normal style or extra spicy. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s menu👌🏾 #TheButlerWay
- Sweeps in baseball are challenging. Road sweeps even more so. The guys took care of business this weekend, which means DESSERT! Started the weekend with a stuck bus and Golden Corral, end it with a sweep and dessert! #ButlerWay
- Always thought it’d be cool to be transparent on here. Have had six solid practices, but we were no bueno today. Uninspired baseball, starts with me and the staff. Hopefully it’s the low point of the fall, excited to get after it tomorrow. #ChopWoodCarryWater

- I know we’re all tired of social media at this point. But we can’t get tired of the conversations that have to happen. Read this. Or don’t. This is from Thursday when like many of you I couldn’t sleep. If just one person reads it and is reminded to love more, it’s worth it.
- Man. What a first weekend. Overwhelmed by the number of people who have reached out and excited about the progress we saw. Joey Urban, Aaron Barokas, Jake DeFries, Alex Voss all had really good weekends. Contributions from a ton others. Gotta keep chopping wood and carrying water

- .@ButlerUBaseball was @ the mercy of a young HC this week, still figuring bullpen/game management. Need cleaner baseball as well. Swept by talented Campbell. Despite that, some good things. Bosecker/Barokas gave chances to win & Urban swung it well again. Gotta keep chopping wood
