- What if a WPIAL championship game ended like that?? Wait, that’s already happened. Before there was Jalen Suggs, there was Lance Jeter.
- What Aliquippa is doing, I don't think it's talked about enough. This is a Class 1A school. A Class 1A public school. And it will play for a WPIAL Class 4A title for the second year in a row. Quips don't back down from anyone.

- How great is this? Darrelle Revis made arrangements for Aliquippa players & coaches to attend his Hall of Fame induction today in Canton. Who knows, there might be a future HOF on that team. The Quips will now have the most players in there of any high school in the country.

- Five WPIAL teams advanced to the state championships. Pitt won the ACC championship. Steelers rallied to beat the Ravens. I’d say that’s a pretty good weekend for Western Pa. football.
