- Calvin Head has been named the new District Athletic Director for Bowling Green Independent Schools. He will oversee athletics programs at both BGHS and BGJHS.

- The Bowling Green Board of Education has approved a mask mandate for BGISD. All individuals, including students, school employees, contractors and visitors, are required to wear a face covering while inside school facilities and school buses.
- Our medical community has been incredibly supportive of the @BGHSPurplesNews Medical Arts Academy. Today, BGHS returned boxes of unused supplies that had been donated, back to @MedCenterHealth (gloves, masks, face shields).
- Stadium lights are on at @BGHSPurplesNews and across the 4th Region for 20 minutes and 20 seconds, in honor of the Class of 2020 @4thRegionADs
