- 1 bag per child. 6 meals and 6 milk cartons per bag. 10 school buses to help wonderful volunteers make deliveries. 3,000+ bags packed with love from our amazing School Nutrition team. Immeasurable appreciation.

- Due to the continuing presence of ice and snow on many roads across the county making driving conditions hazardous for Thursday morning, the Barrow County School System will cancel school on Thursday January 18th.

- Barrow County School System will start the school year with distance learning for all students on Monday, August 17. Although the district had planned to begin with both in-person and distance learning, the current COVID-19 situation required a change in those plans.
