- I agree wholeheartedly with @piersmorgan on @GMB about the selfishness of people whinging about losing their holidays in the #coronavirus crisis. We’ve cancelled our two remaining holidays this year, as, like Piers, we feel everyone’s health is more important than our enjoyment.

But as this whole episode was instigated by the BBC’s lack of impartiality when they bowed to Government pressure, Davie and the Chairman both need to resign. Too many top roles are held by Tories. Only then can the BBC claim to be anywhere near impartial.
