Tourists: Welcome to Nashville, a Covid hotspot that has just suffered a terror attack. Here are just a few suggestions to keep the locals from loathing you. 1. Our fresh sites of tragedy are open crime scenes, not exciting backdrops for your selfies. Stay out!- Watching Republicans ruin Williamson County has been one of the most remarkable things to me. It had the best schools. It felt safe. All they had to do was just sit back and take the credit, but now they’ve got armed idiots downtown and Moms for Liberty in their libraries.
- Two things really struck me about today. One is just how cool the Democrats were. Like, if all you had to go by was today to pick a side in Tennessee, who wouldn’t want to be on the side of brilliant young people and the colleagues who spoke so passionately in their defense?

- If the state of Tennessee can subvert the will of the voters and refuse to seat elected officials they don’t like, then we don’t actually have voting rights. And I would like the DOJ to act like this is serious. Send some lawyers.
