Text of the H-1B proclamation. It looks like they are trying this with 212(f) whitehouse.gov/presidential-a… - False. H-4 spouses do not automatically get work authorization. Only the spouses of H-1B workers who have an approved immigrant visa petition qualify for an #H4EAD. Usually only those in the #greencardbacklog apply as others can apply for a green card. This requires (generally)Replying to @immigrationgirlOne h1b is 2 work visas as wife automatically gets h4 which also can be used for employment. Hence 2 american citizens replaced!
