When informed that nuclear plants cannot be built in less than 10 to 15 years, I point to Calder Hall (3 years) and Shippingport (4 years) US Virginia class submarines take 4 years to build, start to finish. Each contains a nuclear power plant.

If Three Mile Island is the worst #nuclear accident in US history, why isn't that seen as a huge endorsement for the technology? Some use it as a condemnation, but TMI didn't damage any property outside facility fence and didn't hurt ANYONE. If that's the worst in 70 years...

It's difficult to express frustration I feel when told that nuclear is too slow to make a difference in addressing climate crisis. I've spent 30 years investing time and money to expand nuclear energy production Many claiming it's too slow spent those years slowing it down
