Derrick J. Wyatt (the art director of Transformers Animated) was also the art director of Ben 10 Omniverse. In the show, there is a character called Fistina whose design is a reference to Crasher from Challenge of the Gobots and the Series 1 figure of Crasher.

Cy-kill quite famously appears in the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (which creates a lot of weird implications for the MCU.) When asked, @JamesGunn has confirmed that Hasbro let them use the design for Cy-Kill in the Special, meaning Gunn specifically wanted Cy-Kill.

In the canceled fourth season of Transformers Prime, Thundertron (who's getting a new toy) would've been the leader of the Star Seekers. One of their members would've been Cosmos, who was forced to join the team after his home planet of GOBOTRON was destroyed by the Star Seekers.
