With all my heart, I love this man for sake of Allah. Allah protect him always, reunite him with his children on yawm al-qiyamah when Ibrahim AS will hand his children back to him, after having been in the prophet’s care.
The father of the little girl Reem used her earring like a badge because it’s the only souvenir from his beloved daughter.

In solidarity with Haya Adam from @soaslibzone, I promised I would 🔥 my Masters certificate from @SOAS if she was expelled. They have chosen to unfairly punish her, so I don’t want to be associated with a uni that markets decoloniality while punishing those who practice it.

Day 2 - Victory day for Marieha Hussain. A 🧵 on how day 2 of the trial prosecuting Marieha ended in a resounding victory for her and her defence team, and how the CPS has been shown again to overpolice and prosecute people of colour. @CAGEintl @nelsabbey @kehinde_andrews

Bismillah. A 🧵 on my latest stop by the police coming into the UK. I had just returned from a work trip and was stopped for 4.5 hours. From the outset I was reminded that I was not under any suspicion, but that was only the start of what quickly descended into parody

Let’s be clear, calling this an act of terrorism does not go anywhere close to describing the system of structural racism that allows for a political class, media, military, police and judicial to demonise Muslims every single day. #NZMosqueShooting

I think we need to case study this for the sake of posterity. Feel free to add your own in this thread 😬. Case study #1 - Priti Patel: Got called a ‘Paki’ at school, but still willing to deport black/brown people. Leader of the pull up the ladder movement
Some brown & black people are stronger ‘allies’ of white racists than each other.

We must continue to point out the importance of the ways in which words are used to demonise Palestinians. The BBC reports that 150 Palestinian captives are to be released as part of the 4 -day pause, but insists on referring to them as 'teenagers' rather than children.

The first kick and the stamp are completely uncalled for - don't care about knowing the context. Watch the young man in the background completely compliant and showing his lack of threat. He's still kicked and punched in the face - completely unnecessarily. Thugs in uniform.

    Replying to @AsimCP
It was the first time I had really looked around carefully to see what was in the room. Irony of all ironies, there was a Muslim prayer mat folded in the table In the corner, perhaps the most profound symbol of which community is specifically targeted by this legislation 😞

Clearly today’s protest begins at the platform of Marble Arch ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽 Half an hour early and we’re not able to move past here. Never been so happy to be trapped on a tube platform Alhumdulillah. #freepalestine #FromTheRiverToTheSea

Someone is about to find out whether or not half a million murdered children was a price worth paying.

These former Prime Ministers represent an unbroken chain of neoliberalism that has damaged our society in ways that are irreparable. They have privileged the wealthy at the cost of the poor, to the extent have nationals queuing up for free food and for a place to keep warm
