    Got COVID 9 months ago, received the 2nd vaccine dose a month ago. Now am COVID positive again! Not unexpectedly, my symptoms are quite mild (vaccines work). Will continue to see patients online. And spread awareness. Stay safe. Stay home.

    Pressing request: If you are COVID +ve with mild symptoms — please, please stay at home! Insisting on a hospital bed will deprive the severely sick of their chance to survive. Our systems are being overstretched beyond anyone’s wildest imagination.

    In 2006 as a child, Sahiba nearly died from liver failure. I initially turned her down for a transplant as she was too critical. Her father donated half his liver & insisted we try. And we did! Here she is, at her wedding.. The mother of all miracles! #NationalGirlChildDay

    Black fungus (mucormycosis infection) after COVID can result in loss of vision, brain damage & even death. PREVENT IT: - Avoid steroid overuse - Control diabetes - No unnecessary antibiotics - Hygenic oxygen: clean concentrators, clean water for humidifier, certified source
