- I think this is the longest breakdown Trakt has ever had but Trakt has always been VERY reliable. Fingers crossed for the team to solve this issue as soon as possible. Downtimes are always very stressful for both engineers and users๐คOn Dec 11 at 7:30 PST, our main database crashed & corrupted some of the data. This is unplanned & we've been working around the clock to restore it. It's a painstakingly slow process given the scale of data. We unfortunately have no ETA but we're doing everything we can.
- Showly is always looking for help with translating the app into other languages. Join the CrowdIn project if You wish to help with current and future translations! German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Arabic, Italian, Turkish
- Most recent update (v. 3.26) introduces updated UI/UX for bigger screens users. No longer it's just a scaled phone view but rather bigger-screens-optimized layouts. If you are a Tablet or Foldable device user you can start testing them today! Sneak peaks below:
- ๐ One of the features coming up next update will be full screen edge to edge support with a new floating menu. That's not all, stay tuned ๐
- Trakt API did return yesterday. How is you experience? Is everything back to normal and working as expected so far?
- The incoming update will introduce new progress section called 'On Hold' dedicated for shows that user has paused watching. This section will be collapsible and always located at the bottom.
- New update is starting rollout today. Nothing huge but: * Added Recents section option into Calendar Widget * Added context (tap and hold) menu for search results items * Added episode runtime in episode details * Added episode absolute number for Anime shows
- A new update is making its way into the PlayStore. This time it's all for Premium users of the app which have shown great amount of support ๐ ๐ Premium users can now enjoy additional collection view modes like compact list and grid view!
- History of watched episodes page is currently a work in progress ๐๐๏ธ๐ทโโ๏ธ
- Apparently website is now back online and API (so Showly and other apps) will be brought back next week.Trakt website & Plex scrobbler are back online! Trakt API will be back next week. We're closely monitoring the servers while things ramp up. We're deeply sorry for the extended downtime & we'll do better moving forward. Updates to our automated backups are already in place.
- New update upcoming this week! The highlight will be an option to view an official collections/series for the movies (if they are part of any) Here's a little preview ๐
00:00 - At last a long requested feature of being able to select watching date is coming up for all the users.๐ You will now be able to select custom date every time an episode/season/movie is marked. Default option will be adjustable via settings. Small preview below:
