    Two Mexican-Americans will be going up against each other in tomorrow’s Gold Cup final. 🇲🇽🇺🇸 Julián Araújo was born and raised in California. He made the switch to México as his heart’s with them. Diego Luna was also born and raised in California. His heart’s with the USMNT.

    Leeds United are so popular now in the US that NBC is putting their game this Saturday against Brighton on USA network— pushing Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea’s games to Peacock instead. Incredible.

    The emotional man looking at his medal is Ryota Nishimura, the Japanese assistant coach who moved to México in 2012. He met Jimmy Lozano at a coaching course, and became his right-hand man. Nishimura speaks fluent Spanish and sings the Mexican anthem passionately.🇲🇽🇯🇵

    On Saturday, Atlanta United U-15s defeated Manchester United U-15s 4-0 in the Generation Adidas Cup 😳 The players then celebrated with Alex Morgan’s iconic “Tea Drinking” celebration, which she did when the USWNT defeated England back in the 2019 Women’s World Cup 😂🫖

    Per ESPN, Mauricio Pochettino signed a two-year contract and will receive $6 million a year. He’s the highest-paid USMNT coach ever. Gregg Berhalter earned $2.3 million in 2022 including World Cup bonuses. The salary is supported significantly by two hedge fund billionaires.💰

    Sebastián Lletget has *allegedly* cheated on Becky G. The couple just got engaged recently. Lletget lost his spot in the USMNT, got bounced around by teams in MLS, and now about to lose Becky G is just over a year. The man is fumbling HARD.

    So if you’re in the U.S., you can’t watch a Premier League game on Peacock, if it’s being aired on USA Network? So you’re paying monthly for Peacock to get access to Premier League games. But you still have to get access to USA Network somehow for selected games? Stupid.

    After his heroic performance tonight in the penalty shootout, Matt Turner took off his kit to reveal “RIP Malia” written across the shirt. Malia Jusczyk was a young soccer fan and honorary New England Revolution captain, who passed away recently from pediatric cancer. #USMNT
