- I am extremely shaken to learn that Houston P.D. Officer Jason Knox was killed in the line of duty this morning when his helicopter went down. Prayers for his family๐. Chase Cormier, who was critically injured in the accident is out of surgery & is in need of prayer warriors.If you ever saw Jason driving around in one of his restored Houston PD cruisers, you could see his pride in being an HPD officer. Officer Jason Knox is the best of who we are and we will miss him dearly. Jason watched over us, from above, and we know he will continue to do so. ๐
- Thanks to the Lord! Last night, our son, an HPD Sergeant, was looking for the suspect who shot a Deputy Constable in the chest - AND- our son found the crook rolling down the road. After a short chase, he was safely arrested, & also had a ballistic vest & high capacity magazine.This is how quickly it can happen. A simple traffic stop and the coward opened fire on deputy constable. Thank God his vest stopped the bullet and thanks to responding officers the coward was caught shortly after. The violence against law enforcement needs to end. #EnoughIsEnough

- Exactly @JoeGamaldi I have a tremendous amount of confidence in HPD for handling these types of riots. The SRG spends a lot of time preparing.I canโt ever imagine our troops being told to stand down & seemingly disappear like the weak city administration ordered in Minneapolis.Our officers who were attacked are in the hospital, patrol cars ruined, businesses damaged, this is not who we are as a City and as a community. We will protect your right protest, but we will not allow our city to decay into chaos.
