There was no quarantine. The bars were closed for a few weeks in the spring of 2020. Kids got out of school for summer a few weeks early. They weren't in solitary confinement, and school was hybrid by Fall. People have constructed a fairytale of things that simply did not happen.

I saw my Canadian sister this evening. She told us she's had COVID four times, but it's fine because she's vaccinated. She's a master swimmer and jumps right back into the pool/gym as soon as her symptoms subside. I asked her why she doesn't just wear a respirator.

"I'd have to quit my job," she replied. She's a director at AbbVie. She uses computers and has does lots of Zoom meetings. "And I fly on airplanes a lot." Ok, so wear a respirator on airplanes. This woman has a doctoral degree. 🙄 It's laziness and the need to conform.

That therapist should find a job in another field. Why is her personal phone on during session? My last therapist regularly fell asleep during my sessions. I quit therapy. If I want my trauma to be ignored, I have a family for that.

She did not "say former President Donald Trump damaged her reputation by calling her a liar after she accused him of sexual assault." A jury of his peers found that he did, based on facts and the law. It's a fact, not hearsay. He is guilty.

The other weird thing is that people really don't seem to remember that prior to having COVID, they were rarely, if ever, sick. Now they are sick constantly and don't seem to even wonder why. As if they've always been this way. It's bizarre.

Because no one is doing a damn thing. I feel increasingly hopeless. I know good and well that no one is coming to save us. I guess I really wasn't expecting that I wouldn't succeed in paying someone, anyone, to care about their own damn kids. /end rant #CovidIsIAirborne #PASC
